A visit from November to April is likely to be the most enjoyable. August is the wettest month, while April to June are quite dry. The coldest months are December and January but the weather is very good and many people choose this as a time to visit so the Christmas period is very busy. The hottest months are July and August and most people are active early in the morning to avoid the heat.
